Meet the Team

Alex knew he wanted to join the family business long before graduating from ECU. After attaining his B.S. in Industrial Distribution and Logistics with a Business minor, Alex was eager to start working for the company his Father established by helping maintain the reputation it was built on, while competing with ever changing technologies and markets.

Alex constantly looks for areas of growth and improvement – new and resourceful ways to enhance how his team can most effectively provide the best possible service. Deep family values of honesty, integrity, and fairness, find their way at the core of Alex’s approach to business practices, which is why his team finds great pride in working alongside him.

It is Alex’s earnest desire to build a platform in which his team can reach their full potential and work together in serving the community he’s always called home.

Outside of the business, Alex looks forward to enjoys spending time at home with his wife Emily, daughter Eleanor, and his son James.

The longest member of Townsend’s rental office, Diane has held the all important responsibility of managing property finances since October 2009. With over 25 years experience in accounting and auditing procedures, Diane couldn’t have been a more perfect fit for the role of Head Bookkeeper.

Diane studied Business at Bladen Community College and trained in accounting under a former employer. As a dedicated employee, she places great importance on the quality of her work, understanding just how crucial the accuracy behind numbers can be.

Her workmates are often amazed at how she juggles multiple tasks yet always manages to listen patiently and attentively, devoted to her share of ensuring departmental cooperation and collaboration. Diane is never too busy to listen, never too overwhelmed to answer, and never without a yummy treat for her fellow co-workers!

Away from the office Diane loves cooking, baking and staying active on trips and exploring with her grandchildren.

As her motto, Pam quotes a notable figure when saying “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.” It is this view on the impact of words that embodies the way Pam uses speech in her relationships with everyone she encounters.

Beginning in the summer of 2013, Pam started as the Receptionist, playing the important role of greeting and assisting customers. Pam’s whimsical and light-hearted spirit brought a smile to everyone she encountered. Her positive nature along with a sincere desire to help individuals is paramount to her work ethic.

Pam has a long history of interest in homes beginning with real estate studies in college, and then working in the real estate finance industry. She currently serves as Townsend’s Assistant Bookkeeper/Legal Processor. Some of Pam’s personal interests lie within her community and include staying active within her local church and volunteering for Connections of Cumberland County.

Meet Bryan Benedicto, Maintenance Facilitator. Bryan is from Biñan, Laguna, a bustling City in the Philippines.

Bryan has a reputation for his strict punctuality, dedication, and drive. Bryan began his professional career as a Registered Nurse, but like many of us, found great admiration in real estate and desired to find a career that allowed him the flexibility of working remotely.

Bryan’s personal motto is: A goal without action will always be a dream. We can certainly attest to the fact that Bryan is a man of action! He never hesitates to dive in, find solutions, offer suggestions, and deliver. Bryan has a lovely Wife and two beautiful children, and as a family they find joy in serving their community through donations and other acts of service.

Sandra Holland joined Team Townsend November 2021, with 25 years of experience in Property Management specializing in Multi Family Property Management. Sandra holds a professional certificate with Registered in Apartment Management (RAM). She was born in Upstate New York and moved to Virginia Beach which is where her interest and passion for Property Management started. She took an entry level position and worked her way up to the Residential Property Manager. Sandra enjoys learning new things which is why she was very excited to join our team as it gives her an opportunity to learn the residential end of property management.

Sandra enjoys building strong relationships and offering trustworthy customer service with her owners and tenants. She takes pride in ensuring she is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to each and everyone.

Sandra loves making and creating memories by spending quality time with family and friends. One of her favorite mottos is “Live for the moments you can’t put in words”

Holly has a very fitting moto, “Teamwork makes the dream work!”, which is the attitude Holly brings to the office each and every day. She is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed which is why her role as our Leasing Specialist /Administrative Assistant is perfectly suited.

Holly has two years prior experience as a leasing consultant and enjoys helping families find there next place to call home. She understands the importance of making the leasing process as stress free as possible in todays busy lifestyles .

She finds spending time with her family, Kayaking, and visiting new places a great way to relax and unwind.

Born and raised in Fayetteville, George is Townsend’s Property Inspector.

George has made building construction a lifelong career culminating in being a retired NC certified Building & Plumber Inspector. We are very excited to have such a knowledgeable and experienced inspector working on our staff to ensure all of our owner’s biggest investments (their homes) have a detailed assessment once he has inspected their property. George keeps the office in good spirits with his wit and humor.

George’s personal motto: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”

He is an avid cyclist and lover of history, combining those two passions in his words “puts him in Heaven on Earth”. George says nothing gives him greater pleasure than spending time with his lovely wife and house full of fur babies.

Meet Kiara Davenport, Property Manager. She started her property management adventure in 2009. She went into banking briefly, but she soon realized those skills would also be an asset to the multifamily management industry, joining Team Townsend in February 2023.

Born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, to a close-knit family that enjoys game nights, food is the universal family love language. Kiara is a dog mom who loves the outdoors, podcasting, and reading.

Kiara truly enjoys building relationships and making experiences memorable for residents/tenants and homeowners. Kiara takes her responsibility as a fiduciary seriously while tailoring her approach to communicating effectively with all parties involved. Over time, she's learned that communication style can tremendously impact one's ability to lead teams and organizations. She takes her role as a problem solver seriously.

Kiara's favorite quote is, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." This is applied daily as her goal is to make others smile often.
